I tried to post this a couple weeks ago during the video tests and it didn't work. It is a recording of a man named Leonard Ravenhill on the importance of the human Soul. I'll let him speak for himself but I do agree that we treat the conversion of men too flippantly. This is especially important with how we tell people that they are saved after a 30-second prayer at an alter in some church. Didn't Paul write that God's spirit bears witness with ours that we are saved (Romans 8:16)?
He has managed to impress me a fair amount with what I have seen so far. If you have been around long enough, you also know that I have listened through several of his sermons and have been working through his recommended reading list.

I like the way he puts that,
I like the way he puts that, and how passionate he sounds.
Yeah, I'd agree that too many people treat salvation as a quick-fix kinda thing that can be accomplished so easily. Like, "check! yup, now I'm saved! On with my life..."
It's sad
The Affect of the Gospel
There was a book I picked up recently that quoted a man in England who said how horrible it was that we allow religion to affect the rest of our lives. The author asked whether the men in the Bible had allowed their lives to be impacted by it. 'Specially since many of the apostles died as martyrs...
To think that what we believe should not affect the rest of our lives is silliness.
